Tutorial - Card/Letter Folio


Card/Letter Folio



These fit into the Stampin’ Up! Open End Envelopes


Supplies:
Card Stock

Celery - 6 5/8” x 8 1/6”
Score at 3 ¼ ” and 6 ½”


Sage Shadow – 6 ½” x 3 1/8” round bottom corners only
6 ½” x 1 3/8”” round bottom corners only
1” x 3”
1” x 1 1/4”

White – 6 3/8” x 3”
6 3/8” x 1 ¼”

Ribbon – Celery Organdy 16”

Other – Cuttlebug Textile Embossing Folder, Big Kick, Sticky Strip, Sponge Dauber, Certainly Celery Ink, Dimensionals, Corner Rounder

Finished stamped embellishment to adhere to folio






Fold on the 1 ½” score on your 6 5/8'” x 8 1/16” celery card stock, and round the bottom corners using the corner rounder





Round the top corners of your celery piece








Adhere the Sage Shadow piece of card stock to the top outside and bottom flap as shown



Place your white card stock into the embossing folder and put it through your die cut machine. (note excess will hand out of embossing folder)



Place the unembossed side back into your embossing folder – realign and and place back into your die cut machine so your entire piece will now be embossed.



Using the sponge dauber and celery ink – apply to raised embossed card stock.

Round bottom corners of the white card stock with the corner rounder.

Repeat these above steps with the other piece of white card stock.





Adhere larger white piece to the top flap, and smaller white piece to the bottom.


Adhere the 1” x 3” piece of sage card stock to the top flap as shown



Adhere the 1” x 1 ¼” piece of sage card stock to the bottom flap as shown



Apply sticky strip to the inside bottom flap as shown


Peel off protective cover on sticky strip and fold up flap



Wrap your 16” organdy ribbon around the folio and tie in a bow at the bottom

You can now adhere your embellishments to the outside and inside of the folio.

This is awesome . Thanks so much for posting a tutorial for it. I am always searching for new ideas for creating cards and for journaling on my scrapbook pages, I think this will be perfect to create for both cards and scrapbook pages.
